Godspeed, Clarence Clemons

God bless you, Big Man, and Godspeed.

  1. There’s a Dead show sometime in the late 80’s or early 90’s, I can’t quite remember, where, on listening to the tape (cd) suddenly the crowd go wild and a sax kicks in. At the end of the song Bob Weir says “Everyone say “Thank you, Clarence. ” ……..it’s a sweet moment.

  2. Such a loss…..the best interview I ever heard was Clarence on Howard Stern. I really got to see the real person behind the sax. He will be missed, but heaven’s playlist just got a bit sweeter.
