Boo, Chris!! ;)
That “crass commercialism” helps promote my mom’s home town of Punxsutawney, PA from where I am a proud descendant 8) Commercialize away, and support Punxsutawney!!!!! …or at least eat one of my groundhog cookies!!! :)
Ha ha, I love it. I also love Groundhog Day. I went to Punxsutawney once, for Groundhog Day festivities, and while I doubt I’ll ever go back, it was a pretty great (and weird) experience.
I completely agree!!! I’ve been there for the actual Day twice-it is very great, but very weird. :) Thanks for taking part in the crass commercialism 8) (Chris :P)

Let’s just not forgot the true meaning of the day: A groundhog named Phil and funny 19th-century regalia. Save me a cookie!
So true how the man has ruined what was once a special day for a groundhog to be yanked from a hole and ogled. No class Gobbler’s Nob. No class. :-)
