Who Wants to Do a Comic Book?

Character co-created by Will Eisner. Image fro...

Public Domain Man, ascending the stairway to Wikipedia. (Not from actual script, silly.)

I was going through some old files a few days ago and found practice scripts I’d written for the first two issues of what I imagined might be a six-issue comic book miniseries.  I’m a lifelong comics fan and I wrote these scripts two years ago to see if I could produce something interesting in the medium.  I actually really like what I came up with.  It’s a superhero team concept, a little more Authority than Justice League.  If you’re an artist who wants to work on spec and you still have your issue of Batman #500 in plastic, drop me a line.  I’m always looking for fun people to work with on these kinds of projects.

  1. I’m not an artist but a fellow comic book fan. Good luck to you. There isn’t much originality left in the comic world these days, but there are a lot of great stories being told.

  2. I would be very interested! I work in a variety of styles, if you check out my blogs, you can get an idea… all of the images I’ve used on both blogs are completely original (well, the Skittles images did start out as a grab from Google images… I figured Skittles wouldn’t mind…)

I’ve been toying with several graphic novel ideas myself lately, and I think collaborating with someone would lend sauce to that endeavor!

    Best wishes!
